Comcast sucks

So stupid ass Comcast cuts my services off last night. I call and tell them my bill isn't even due and my account is current. So they say check and sure enough I'm right. So they say it was a mistake but can't turn it back on til Thursday!!! Really? Wtf? So I called again this morning and I spoke to a very sweet lady named Donna who apologized and said they can get someone out this afternoon. I'm so glad I called back. I couldn't even watch the news this morning :( Hopefully I can catch up tonight.

Almost 9 years old now

So my baby (not so much a baby anymore) is turning nine on Thursday. I wanted to give him a Halloween Theme party but he wants a Rockstar cake :) It looked pretty awesome in the picture so we ordered it. 

Thanks to my beautiful and talented friend Linda, he has also has some awesome cupcakes to celebrate his birthday with his classmates. I wish I had the patience to bake like that. I did bake cinnamon rolls the day before yesterday (okay so they were Pillsbury, but it counts). 

So all I have to sort out now is when to decorate. I'm thinking night before that way everything's already up when we get home the following afternoon. I'm leaving food ideas up to him, since it's his day and all.

TGIF

Finally Friday is here!! Seems like this week was never going to end. So I just hope today goes by quickly. Well I was planning a surprise birthday party for my lil man on Thursday, but unfortunately it's no longer a surprise :) I asked his Dad to help me round up a few kids. So what does he do?? He calls up his buddy and says "Hey Lilly is having a birthday party for AJ on Thursday, I'll swing by and pick up Angel have her ready" :/ Hello!!! Aj is like right in front of you, so much for a surprise. I had it all planned out too. Decorate while he's still in the after school program, get everyone together, pick up food and cake, then pick him up early and surprise!!! Everyone's there. Lol. Oh well, I guess he can help decorate now. You should have seen him smiling all the rest of the day because he found out. Well this is all for now. I guess I'll try to get some work done. TGIF!!

Monday ...... blaaaaahhhh

I'd rather be in bed right now curled up with a nice hot cup of coffee watching scary movies with my puppy and son by my side. Oh well, bills need to be paid, so here I am at work again. Yesterday my son kept complaining about how bored he was. Video game systems in the living room (wii), dining room (xbox360) and his room (psp and ps1) , closet full of toys, shelves full of books and tons of movies on dvd, but he's bored. Okay then. So we went out and bought a pumpkin to carve. He's old enough now to were I can let him do some cutting with supervision of course. So I started him off and wa-la Jack-o-Lantern! I didn't feel like even leaving the house yesterday but just to see his smile and do something he enjoys makes my day. I know I won't always be able to just pick up a pumpkin or game to make him happy, but while I can I will. Well gotta get back to work now. Ugh!!

I told you I'd be back

Well that was a short lived routine breaker. She felt better and came in to work. Good for her but not so good for me. This means now I'm back in my office in dead silence with no one around. I guess I'll take my smoke break soon just to get some fresh air. I don't hate my job, don't get me wrong. It's just that I wish it had a little more variety to it.

Just another day at the office

I get to take a break from my daily routine today. My poor co-worker isn't feeling well so I'm covering the front desk for her. I kinda enjoying it actually. I'm usually stuck in my little office upstairs with no interaction with the outside world. At least for a day I can look out the glass doors which have a beautiful view our the park.  I've already killed two hours. Hooray! Only four more to go. Not that I have anything interesting to do today. My son stays in an after-school program until almost six and his Dad works crazy hours so he may or may not be home by then. So it's just me and Romeo until someone gets home. By the way, Romeo is my adorable 4 month old Chihuahua. Well this is all for now but I'm sure I'll be posting again soon. Thanks for stopping by!
